Our Focus

  • To affirm and strengthen social and ethnic identities and families’ ability to function in a multicultural society.

Refugee Outreach Program

The Refugee Outreach Program provides practical family support and advocacy for refugees, asylum seekers and new migrant families.

To be eligible, recipients must hold temporary protection visas or bridging visas.

 

Following services are provided through the program:

  • Food Bank – free groceries, rice, vegetables, and fruit;
  • Financial assistance with electricity, gas and water bills; 
  • Community building and greater interaction through organized social gatherings;
  • Information and referral on legal issues, mental health concerns, housing and other matters.

The program is held every second Wednesday of the month (11 am – 12 noon) at 15 Park Road, Seven Hills, 2147 NSW.

 

Please note: Due to current COVID19 restrictions, only distribution services are provided at the above address and during the designated time. NSW EAPA Scheme services are provided online or via telephone.

 

 

Hope Outreach

Hope Outreach provides practical and social support to individuals and families living in Sydney.

If you or your family are experiencing hardship and hold either a pension card, health care card or concession card you are eligible to receive this support.

 

The program offers:

  • Grocery items at a reduced price;
  • Organized social gatherings which includes a free meal; 
  • Access to our ministry team.

Hope Outreach program runs on Fridays during the school terms, between 3.30pm and 5.00pm.

The program is held at 15 Park Road, Seven Hills, 2147 NSW.

Assistance with Electricity, Gas and Water Bills

Community Care Incorporated is an approved provider of assistance under the terms and conditions of following schemes:

  • Service NSW Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA); and
  • Sydney Water Payment Assistance Scheme (PAS).

If deemed eligible we can assist you with energy and water bills during a financial crisis or in times of an emergency. For a detailed assessment of your eligibility, please speak to our staff during the Hope Outreach Program or the Refugee Outreach Program.
